"I was referred to Bob at Auto Enterprise by a nearby audio company that's done some work for me in the past - I need guidance on paint options for a 1975 BMW that I use as my daily driver. The car was near perfect already but had a handful of noticeable blemishes that drove me crazy as I got further along w/ restoration efforts. I'd spoken w/ a handful of other shops about touch-up, blending, painting specific panels - nobody wanted the work. "Too difficult, time consuming, not worth it," were answers I received. Matching a 40-yr old single-stage paint is virtually impossible. I've purchased dealer touch-up kits and had shops try to mix something up. Both experiences left my prized possession looking not-so-hot. Bob's an enthusiast - he knows cars and understands the value and significance of preserving a vintage car's original paint. I met w/ him 2-3 times to review the work. He spent considerable time walking me through the process and assured me that I'd be happy w/ the final product. I promised I'd write a killer Yelp review if he held up his end of the bargain. And now here we are...I made it very clear that budget and quality were my priorities. My hope was to walk away w/ an end product that I felt exceeded my expectations but didn't break the bank. Bob tackled a handful of things beyond touch-up and I'm happy w/ all.
