2022 C-8 Corvette – Pavement Hole Impact Repair
The 2022 C-8 Corvette arrived after dropping hard into a hole in the pavement. The impact scraped the right front bumper, bent the front right wheel, and shoved the shock upward with enough force to break the upper shock bracket and separate the skirt from the frame rail.
At Automotive Enterprise we treated it with the same careful, methodical approach we bring to every Corvette. Fenders and bumpers were fully disassembled for unrestricted access. The car was then placed on the frame rack so the shock tower could be precisely pulled back into its correct position. Once the geometry was restored, the broken upper bracket was re-welded with an aluminum welder, the frame rail was refinished, and a complete four-wheel alignment was performed to return every measurement to factory specification.
With the structure solid again, the damaged exterior parts were carefully refinished and reinstalled. Paint was blended within the panel boundaries to achieve a seamless color match that disappears into the surrounding bodywork.
The finished car left our shop looking and driving exactly as a C-8 should. This is the kind of structural and cosmetic work we take pride in—accurate, thorough, and done with the respect these cars deserve.
